Open Accelerator aims at identifying and accelerating best ideas and early stage projects in life science while enriching Italian entrepreneurial ecosystem and sharing best international practices and talents. Open Accelerator is located in Bresso, Milan at the OpenZone scientific campus together with other successful 21 biotech companies.
The International Call for Ideas will be open till July 16, 2017 and it targets early stage projects in the areas of:
- Drug delivery systems
- Open source prototyping: medical devices, biomarkers, diagnostics
- Wearables and digital health
- Big data
The acceleration program provides training, mentoring and advisory by a wide international collaborators' network, including scientists, investors and entrepreneurs. Upon completion of the program the best startups can receive up to €100.000 seed investment per project.
